The environment is a major source of inspiration for a lot of artists. As such, we aim to do as much as we can to protect it in our professional practices and our daily lives. This page is meant to share with you practices we are already following and we welcome suggestions for postings on this site.

  "Sludge" by TriArt
Sludge is a by-product of acrylic paint manufacturing. It is an economical alternative to neutral ground and neutral colour. It can be used in place of gesso when a muted base is desired. Its production allows 100% of the cleaning water used in manufacturing acrylic paint to be reused. This is more than 1500 US gallons of water every 2 weeks.
